Lynne Twist

For more than 40 years, Lynne Twist has dedicated her life to alleviating poverty and hunger, and supporting social justice and environmental sustainability. Her humanitarian work with Mother Theresa, refugee camps in Ethiopia, and her environmental advocacy concerning the Amazon is awe-inspiring. She is the co-founder of the Pachamama Alliance and the Soul of Money Institute.

The Institute is a center for exploring and sharing the best practices, theories, and attitudes that enhances people’s relationship to money and money culture, thus creating greater freedom, power, and effectiveness. The mission of the Pachamama Alliance is to empower indigenous people of the Amazon rainforest to preserve their lands and culture. Using insights gained from that work, the Alliance seeks to educate and inspire individuals everywhere to bring forth a thriving, just and sustainable world.

Lynne Twist is also an author and regular key-note speaker for several accredited institutions and conferences, having also shared the stage with globally recognized leaders such as His Holiness the Dalai Lama, Deepak Chopra, Jane Gooddall, and Jean Houston. She is also the recipient of several awards, including the United Nations Woman of Distinction award.
