We are so honored to be names one of the 10 Unforgetable Moments from EDC this year by Magnetic Magazine! See excerpt from their article below!
“We Gonna Rock Down To Electric Avenue. So, let’s talk about Mr. Tesla Dude for a second because he deserves a standing ovation after the eyelids he peeled back over all three nights. He controlled electricity with his hands, then proceeded to control it with a staff. Then some sticks. Then his mind. We trippy mane.”

Best: The Tesla Coil Guy
I know, I know: You’ve seen a million Tesla coils at Coachella and Burning Man. They probably sell the goddamn things at Sharper Image by now. But the performer working a small but vigorous coil at EDC was truly something special. Clad in head-to-toe chain mail and twirling two metal staffs like some demented Cirque du Soleil reject, Tesla coil guy made the lightning dance from his fingertips to his staffs and back again with such precision, the frequency of the coil’s electrical whine actually seemed to match the buzzy trance soundtrack that accompanied his choreographed routine. He also had some weird positive-affirmation voiceovers that didn’t really make any sense, but all that arcing electricity was so spectacular that it hardly mattered. — Andy Hermann

The 15 Best Moments of EDC 2015
Wow! We are honored to have made the top 15 Best Moments of EDC this year among so many extraordinary acts. See excerpt from the Less Than 3 Blog that named us!
“In sync with the music and menacing to the tune of Emperor Palpatine, our electrokinetic costumed performer was hands-down the most eye-catching side-show of the weekend. He compelled bolts of lightning to link with his in-hand metal rods and lunged around a central Tesla coil coaxing it out and giving new meaning to the term “conductor.”

SkyFire Arts at Warner Bros Gala 2014
On May 23rd we brought our lightning show to the Warner Bros Annual Gala. Check out this excerpt from Biz Bash Magazine below!
Skyfire performed on an elevated 17-by-40-foot truss frame using electrical currents generated from a 15-foot tesla coil.
LOS ANGELES – In a town with dozens of events every week, party guests frequently follow a standard valet-bar-buffet-valet pattern. But on a particularly crowded night for parties in Hollywood, one bash offered attendees out-of-the-ordinary options like, say, walking across hot coals or bearing witness to a giant flaming voodoo doll, along with the de rigueur plates of salmon and salad. That event was the Warner Brothers International Television Distribution gala, which drew 1,500 guests—including broadcasters from more than 170 countries and more than 125 actors and producers from the studio’s 50-plus TV series.

Introducing the SkyFire Arts logo!
The concept was designed by our Creative Director, Michael Ravenwood and the drawing is by Abhi Thati.
The eye in the center represents our consciousness, which is the thing that quantum physicists have discovered transforms potentiality & probability into physical reality. The wings represent a relationship to the primal, animal world, the ability to ride the sky and freedom. The fire and lightning symbolize a connection with the raw power of the elements: their light, warmth, and energy corresponding to insight/inspiration, encouragement/compassion, and change/transformation. The various design elements represent forms of cultural refinement in which both contemporary knowledge & ancient wisdom are both highly valued. The lotus is a symbol of how the beauty in the world arises from & is nourished by decay, or how compassion arises from suffering. It also reflects the toroid, which is a shape that has been associated with the design of our physical universe and represents the singularity through which all things are created and into which all things ultimately return.
We hope you enjoy our new aesthetic!
